Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again successfully attacked enemy positions in the Kursk region. This resulted in the elimination of several Russian soldiers, while another eight were taken prisoner.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the SOF of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The operations were carried out by fighters of the 8th SOF regiment and were conducted at night.
It is known that the Ukrainian fighters "destroyed 17 enemies and forced another eight to surrender during two successful raids on Russian military forces in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation."
The SOF press service reported that during one of the operations, the fighters "quietly infiltrated straight into the enemy positions." Ukrainian special operators eliminated 7 enemy soldiers and "compelled the others to surrender with their actions."
"Eight Russian military personnel chose life and joined the exchange fund," reads the SOF publication.
During the second successful raid, the fighters eliminated another ten Russian soldiers.
The SOF also reported that the group of Ukrainian fighters suffered no losses during the special operations.
