In the past day, from January 4 to 5, Russian military forces lost 1,730 soldiers, 91 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 26 armored fighting vehicles on the front.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 05.01.25 are approximately:
personnel - about 796,490 (+1,730) eliminated; tanks - 9,686 (+7) units; armored fighting vehicles - 20,119 (+26) units; artillery systems - 21,603 (+25) units; MLRS - 1,257 units; air defence systems - 1,032 units; aircraft - 369 units; helicopters - 331 units; UAVs of operational-tactical level - 21,447 (+91) units; cruise missiles - 3,006 units; ships/boats - 28 units; submarines - 1 unit; vehicles and fuel tanks - 32,940 (+97) units; special equipment - 3,677 (+2) units;
