The border guards detained a man who was trying to cross the Tysa River on an inflatable boat


In Zakarpattia, border guards detained a man and two 14-year-old teenagers who were moving towards the Tysa River with a rubber boat. It became known that the detained man paid 8,500 dollars for assistance in illegally crossing the border to Hungary.

This was reported on January 6 by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Photos of the detainees were also published.

The SBGS reported that the border patrol spotted a group of people heading towards the Tysa River with a rubber boat.

Upon seeing the border guards, they attempted to flee but were unsuccessful.

It was found that the 14-year-old teenagers were accompanying the man who planned to illegally enter Hungary.

He paid 8,500 dollars for the transportation services.

To clarify the circumstances and draw up an administrative protocol, the man was taken to the border unit, as reported by the SBGS.
