Air defense units shot down seven Russian drones over the Sumy region on Wednesday, January 8.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration in Telegram.
«Today, January 8, our anti-aircraft gunners shot down 7 enemy «Shaheds» in the sky over Sumy, - the message says.
The RMA added that since the beginning of 2025, the region’s air defense units have destroyed 69 Russian drones.
