On the night of January 11, the aggressor country of the Russian Federation once again launched an attack on the Kyiv region using kamikaze drones. The air defence forces operated effectively in the region, but debris from downed objects damaged private houses and outbuildings.
This was announced by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore warnings about danger.
"At night, the enemy attacked Kyiv region again with UAVs. Air defence forces were active in the area. Enemy targets were destroyed. There are no casualties among the population. Hits on critical or residential infrastructure objects were prevented," the statement said.
The official added that due to the fall of debris from destroyed enemy targets, 2 private houses and 2 outbuildings in one district were damaged. The damage is minor - windows were broken in the buildings. According to him, all people whose homes were damaged will receive the necessary assistance.
Operational groups continue to work on documenting the consequences of the night attack.
