Former UK Prime Minister Borys Johnson sharply criticized Russian leader Vladimir Putin and stated that "the empire is no more".
During an interview with an Estonian journalist, a snippet of which appeared online, Johnson emphasized that Putin is trying to revive the Russian empire but has forgotten that Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine are no longer part of this empire.
"What Putin is doing is outdated and barbaric. He must understand that Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania - none of these countries are part of the Russian empire anymore, and the same goes for Ukraine. It’s all over. It’s all over. There’s no more empire, Vladimir, complete idiot (Eng. f*cking idiot - media)! I’m sorry, but that’s the way it is," Johnson stated.
The journalist laughed at the sharp statements of the former UK Prime Minister.
