The situation in Pokrovsk remains stable; there are no enemies there. Meanwhile, Russian occupiers are trying to encircle the city, but they are still far from this goal.
This was stated by the representative of OSTG "Khortytsia" Viktor Trehubov during a telethon broadcast.
"In Pokrovsk, the situation in the city itself does not change; it is stable - there is no enemy there. We have already had to refute the information spread online that claims they have infiltrated it. This is simply not true," he said.
According to the military officer, the enemy is trying to consolidate on the territory south of Pokrovsk in order to advance southwest of the settlement and cut off logistical routes.
"What is happening in the settlements south of Pokrovsk. These are, for example, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene. There are constant battles, continuous attempts by the enemy to consolidate on this territory, make it a base, and move forward. Not even directly on Pokrovsk, but to the southwest of Pokrovsk, in order to cut off logistical routes. Mainly the roads coming from the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Russians are currently far from this goal, but they are trying," Trehubov informed.
He emphasized that Ukrainians are focused on preventing the enemy from achieving this.
