MP Tyshchenko was returned to house arrest

Today, in the district court of Dnipro, MP Mykola Tyshchenko had his preventive measure re-elected, being assigned two months of round-the-clock house arrest in the case of illegal detention of a former serviceman in Dnipro.

The MP was not personally present at the hearing, communicating via video link. Another defendant, former police officer Bohdan Pysarenko, was present in the courtroom.

Let us recall that as of December 23, Tyshchenko’s round-the-clock house arrest period had expired, but it could not be extended in time due to the MP’s non-appearance in court.
