The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery, located in the Rostov region of Russia, has ceased its operations. After the attack, equipment damage was recorded there.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), Andriy Kovalenko, in Telegram.
"The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation has currently halted operations due to attacks," Kovalenko noted.
He recalled that last year the refinery processed approximately 3 million tons of oil, according to various estimates. The plant is capable of processing 7.5 million tons, but the attacks hindered its full capacity.
Currently, there is damaged equipment there.
