The police have launched an investigation into "Ukraine Development and Consulting Group" LLC, which attempted to become the manager of the seized assets of Russian Ilya Aleksandrov.
This was reported by the National Agency for the Detection, Investigation, and Management of Assets (ARMA).
According to the report, the company submitted false documents to participate in ARMA’s tender for the management of assets of three enterprises: "Romerm" LLC, "Ermrom" LLC, and "Ermak Gold" LLC. On January 15, the tender was declared void.
"Ukraine Development and Consulting Group" appealed ARMA’s actions twice to the Antimonopoly Committee, causing the procedure to be delayed by two months. However, when the agency gained access to the company’s documents, it turned out that they were false or contained misleading information.
After the discovery of fraudulent documents, ARMA contacted the police, who opened a criminal case on two charges: official forgery (Article 366 of the Criminal Code), and embezzlement/misappropriation of property through abuse of office (Part 4 Article 191 of the Criminal Code).
This was the first case in ARMA’s practice when a potential asset manager became the subject of a criminal investigation due to document forgery.
In January 2023, detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security transferred corporate rights and a complex for the production of frozen semi-finished products with an area of over 4,000 sq.m. belonging to the Russian businessman, valued at over 350 million UAH, to ARMA.
It was reported that the "Yermolino Products" group is registered to the Russian "Invest Alliance" LLC of businessman Ilya Aleksandrov.
At the beginning of 2024, the National Agency for the Detection, Investigation, and Management of Assets (ARMA) announced a competition for a manager for the seized "Yermolino" semi-finished product factory.
