This morning, February 2, explosions were heard in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At this time, a ballistic threat was announced, and the movement of a high-speed target towards Kryvyi Rih was detected.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak and the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted on his Telegram that the morning in Dnipropetrovsk region "started with an air raid alert," and it was "loud" in the Kryvyi Rih district.
He did not provide details about the enemy missile attack on the region but clarified that the details are currently being investigated.
As reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defence Council, there was an enemy attack on the region in the morning.
"In the morning, the enemy attacked the Kryvyi Rih district. Details are being clarified," he stated in his social media post.
At the same time, Vilkul emphasized that in Kryvyi Rih "all services, public transport, hospitals, and social facilities are operational."
The Air Force stated almost at seven in the morning about a ballistic threat from the southern direction. Later, the military reported that they detected a high-speed target moving towards Kryvyi Rih.
At 07:24, the Air Force announced the all-clear regarding the enemy’s use of ballistic weapons.
