In Kherson, a woman was killed due to artillery shelling - her body was discovered during the clearing of the house debris.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
«According to the investigation, on February 12, 2025, Russian forces attacked the Kherson region 42 times using artillery and drones. As of 17:30, it is known about one deceased woman and two injured civilians», - the message states.

Kherson CMA informs that around 17:00 Russians hit the residential areas of the Korabelny district. As a result of a direct hit by an enemy shell into a house, a 69-year-old woman received injuries incompatible with life.
The prosecutor’s office also confirmed that in Stanislav of the Kherson district, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone onto a house, as a result of which a couple was injured. Both received outpatient medical care.
As a result of the shelling throughout the day, at least five civilian objects, including houses, utility structures, and vehicles, were destroyed and damaged in the region.
Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the facts of war crimes.
