The former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kuleba, stated that Ukraine will not receive nuclear weapons, and these discussions are conducted solely to boost morale.
"This can be mentioned to lift people’s spirits, but we need to remain realistic. If we want to be like Iran or North Korea - well, we can try. However, I fear that this will lead to our swift defeat, as we have an adversary who will take advantage of the situation when all partners turn away from us, make us pariahs, and the Russians deliver a further strike," he noted.
