The construction of the second line of the "Don - Donbas" water pipeline from the Russian Federation will contribute to the stabilization of water supply in the "republic".
This was stated by Andrey Chertkov, appointed by the Kremlin as "first deputy prime minister," to local journalists.
Apart from his statement, no information about the existence of such a project could be found.
Among other proposals to solve the water supply problem in the occupied region, Chertkov mentioned the possibility of purifying mine water.
"The Ministry of Construction has been instructed to work on the issue of purifying mine water. For this purpose, five mines have been selected from which we can obtain water today," he said.
