The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses.
A Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnyi" reported that the Russians captured a "pocket" east of the village of Ulakly, near Kurakhove.
He noted that some Ukrainian fighters managed to break out of the encirclement under enemy fire, while others were captured. In his message, he expressed disappointment, noting that he had warned about the possible consequences of such a turn of events.
