Zelenskyy: Europe is ready to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine if the US refuses

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he has already begun negotiations with European leaders regarding funding for the Ukrainian army.

He expressed confidence that European partners are ready to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine if the United States decides to stop aid.

Additionally, Zelenskyy noted that the Trump administration is "softening its policy" towards Russia, referring to the war as a "conflict and violation of territorial integrity" rather than a full-scale war.

The President also emphasized that Ukraine currently does not have clear formats of security guarantees, but aims to obtain them this year to bring the war closer to an end.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine could ensure its own security if it had 20 Patriot systems and a license from the United States to produce missiles – as an alternative to involving American troops on its territory.
