Russian troops occupied the village of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.
This was reported by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Mucnyi".
Fierce battles for Bilohorivka had been ongoing since the Russians took control of almost the entire Luhansk territory in the summer of 2022. The village had remained in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces despite significant losses on the Russian side during the assault.
"The enemy’s 7th Separate Motorized Brigade has fully taken control of Bilohorivka, having breached the last lines of defense, rag-tags (Russian flags - Ed.) are hung to the west and northwest of the quarry," writes "Mucnyi".
Russian social media had also previously reported on the capture of Bilohorivka. According to the Ukrainian military Telegram channel DeepState, the village is located in a gray zone.
