The occupiers attacked a house near Khmelnytskyi with drones: some subscribers were left without power


The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Khmelnytskyi district with drones on March 2. As a result of the attack, a house caught fire, and a woman was injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Telegram channel of the head of Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tyurin.

"Khmelnytskyi region: a woman was injured as a result of enemy shelling," states the report by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to rescuers, at night in the village of Pyrohivtsi, Khmelnytskyi district, a fire and destruction occurred at a private house as a result of an enemy UAV strike.

"The fire was extinguished. The blast wave damaged 9 residential houses. Unfortunately, a woman born in 1949 was injured," noted the State Emergency Service.

Consequences of the shelling: damages and power outages

The blast wave damaged ten private households: windows and doors were shattered, and roofs were damaged.

"An electrical transformer, power lines, and the roof of a business warehouse were also damaged," noted Tyurin.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, part of the subscribers was cut off due to the damage to the power grid.

"266 private subscribers and 11 legal entities were left without power. Energy workers have been engaged in restoration work, and it is planned to restore power supply to consumers in the shortest possible time," he reported.
