Former MP from the "Servant of the People" party, Iryna Kormyshkina, along with her husband, a former regional council deputy, was convicted by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) for illegal enrichment.
The court sentenced them to 5 years of imprisonment with a probation period of 2 years. In addition, the couple was fined 68,000 hryvnias each, and they were also obliged to donate 2 million hryvnias each to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Iryna Kormyshkina made a deal with the prosecution, admitted her guilt, and thus received a suspended sentence.
