Several thousand military personnel from the DPRK have been additionally dispatched to the Russian Federation, – intelligence


The North Korean "contingent" is suffering losses in the war against Ukraine.

It is likely that North Korea additionally sent at least 3,000 military personnel to Russia in January and February of this year to participate in the war against Ukraine.

This is reported by Yonhap.

As noted by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, out of the 11,000 DPRK soldiers sent to Russia, about 4,000 were recorded as losses, so Pyongyang decided to send an additional 3,000.

In addition, North Korea continues to supply missiles, ammunition, and artillery equipment to Russia, including:

short-range ballistic missiles; 170 mm self-propelled howitzers; 240 mm multiple rocket launch systems.
