On the night of March 27, the Defence Forces destroyed 42 Russian strike drones over Ukraine. Additionally, the air defenders neutralized several dozen imitation drones without any consequences.
Russia also used ballistic missiles, affecting Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Chernihiv regions during the latest attack.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This air raid lasted from 8:00 PM the previous day, with the aggressor launching an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, 86 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, and drones of various types from Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied territory of Crimea).
The attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defence Forces of Ukraine. As of 9:00 AM, the destruction of 42 enemy strike drones in the south, north, and center of the country was confirmed.
Additionally, 26 Russian imitation drones were lost location-wise (without negative consequences).
