A meeting of national leaders has started in Paris, where they will discuss support for Ukraine in curbing Russian aggression and achieving a just and lasting peace.

«The event is attended by the presidents of Ukraine, France, Lithuania, Finland, Cyprus, the Acting President of Romania, the Chancellor of Germany, and prime ministers of the United Kingdom, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, the Vice President of Turkey, the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, and the NATO Secretary General. Austria, Australia, and Canada are represented at the ambassadorial level», the report states.
The participants will discuss continuing sustainable support for Ukraine, as well as strengthening the Ukrainian army and defence industry, which are some of the main security guarantees for our country.
All issues related to the negotiation process for establishing peace and mechanisms for implementing the initial steps towards a ceasefire will be considered separately.
It is reported that the leaders will also discuss the prospect of deploying guarantee forces in Ukraine as part of the future peaceful settlement with the support of the USA.
