In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to regain positions.
This was confirmed by an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Tsekhotskyi.
The military officer specified that at the moment, the enemy’s advancement is practically nonexistent, despite their attempts:
"There are areas where the Defence Forces have regained positions. By conducting counterattacks, we try to occupy more advantageous positions as soon as the opportunity arises. This happens actively and effectively."
Tsekhotskyi added that the enemy in the Pokrovske direction is being exhausted due to the use of all available forces and means:
"Yesterday, the enemy attempted to use armored vehicles such as tanks and BMPs for an assault, but all these attempts were successfully repelled. In this direction, between 300 to 400 invaders die daily, and sometimes even more. This direction is key for Putin, and he strives to achieve results there to hold positions afterward. However, he is currently failing, and we are doing everything possible to prevent it."
