Zelenskyy will allocate 2 billion hryvnias to support frontline communities

After visiting the eastern regions of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to allocate 2 billion UAH from the reserve fund to support 200 frontline communities in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Chernihiv regions.

This is an extremely important step because these areas experience shelling daily and are in constant combat conditions. The allocated funds will help communities continue their work, restore infrastructure, and ensure survival in difficult conditions.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmytro Kuleba noted that these funds will be directed towards the construction of shelters, emergency recovery work after shelling, the purchase of specialized equipment for municipal enterprises, and the repair of important engineering networks such as heating and gas supply.

In the coming days, the government plans to approve the specific allocation of financing among the communities.
