Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha urged not to remove the issue of Ukraine’s NATO membership from the agenda, emphasizing that Kyiv can make a significant contribution to transatlantic security.
He stated this during a panel discussion at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum on April 12.
In particular, as Sybiha noted, Ukraine has 110 brigades with experience in daily combat operations. In his view, this would be a "realistic," "genuine," and "most cost-effective" contribution to future transatlantic security.
"The security of Ukraine and Europe is indivisible. Excuse my humble opinion, but today Ukraine is shaping the future not only of European security but also of transatlantic security, [and also affecting] security issues in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa," the minister pointed out.
