The State Bureau of Investigation has completed an investigation regarding Victoriya Yanchuk, a judge of the Korostyshiv District Court of Zhytomyr Region, due to the unauthorized transfer of information from the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
This was reported by the press service of the SBI.
According to the prosecution’s version, at the end of 2024, the judge gained access to the court register, made five requests under her login by the number of the criminal case, and acquainted herself with the court decisions regarding search warrants.
These were rulings in a criminal case concerning her father, who works as a doctor and is a figure in a case involving extortion of money by medical professionals from conscripts.
The judge allegedly passed information about the progress of the investigation to her father, including data on planned searches, lists of potential suspects, the names of applicants, and more.

The High Council of Justice has temporarily removed Yanchuk from her duties.
If convicted, the judge faces up to 3 years of imprisonment with a prohibition on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for the same term.
