At night, Russian troops launched a drone attack on Zhytomyr, causing several fires to break out in different districts of the city. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames.
The fire engulfed a warehouse and dry grass. In addition, residential houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged.
At least 15 residential buildings and 4 vehicles were damaged.
According to preliminary information from the State Emergency Service, one person was injured, diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.
"This time, during such a strike, two National Police officers were injured, and they are receiving assistance," reports the Regional State Administration.
The fires were promptly localized by the rescue teams, and the threat of fire spreading was eliminated.
The head of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration noted that part of the Shaheds attacking Zhytomyr region were destroyed.
