On the Kherson direction, 12 Russian military personnel fled from their positions, — "ATESH"

According to the information from an "ATESH" movement agent, 12 soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces have deserted from their positions in the Kherson direction. One of them is a Moldovan citizen, a representative of the Gagauz people.

This was reported by the partisan movement in their Telegram channel.

An agent among the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces reported that 12 soldiers of the Russian army deserted from one of the front-line areas in the Kherson region.

"All of them voluntarily left the front positions and disappeared in an unknown direction — likely seeing no other way to save their lives," noted "ATESH".

It is reported that the deserters left behind weapons, military uniforms, and personal belongings at the place of their escape. Before deserting, the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces changed into civilian clothes. The partisans note that the command raised the unit on alert and organized mass interrogations of the military personnel, and the fugitives are being sought throughout the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

"ATESH" also claims that among the 12 deserters is a Moldovan citizen, a representative of the Gagauz national minority. According to the partisans, a covert recruiting center for the Russian army operates in the Gagauzia territory.

"Russia continues to exploit vulnerable segments of the population and the poorest regions, turning people into cannon fodder," declare the partisan movement.
