During the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 327 units of military equipment and weaponry of the Russian occupying army in battles. They also eliminated or wounded about 1,200 invaders.
Since the start of the full-scale war, the aggressor has lost approximately 961,970 military personnel on Ukrainian soil. Updated data as of May 8 was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The day before, Ukrainian warriors neutralized 50 artillery systems (a total of 27,552), 10 armored fighting vehicles (22,429), two tanks (10,782), one multiple launch rocket system (1,379), and one air defence system (1,156) of the Russian forces.
In the sky, the defenders shot down 141 Russian operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (a total of 35,407), on the ground they destroyed another 120 units of automotive equipment and tankers (47,604), and two units of special equipment (3,875).
Overall, during this war, the Defence Forces have also destroyed 3,197 cruise missiles, 372 aircraft, 335 helicopters, 28 ships/boats, and one submarine.
