Ukrainian military showed how they intercept "elite" Russian drones


The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy enemy drones. This time, they succeeded in intercepting Russian drones such as "Molniya" and Zala.

This is reported by the Unmanned Systems Forces.

It is noted that the video shows the work of intercepting enemy reconnaissance UAVs performed by the operators of the 413th "Raid" battalion of the USF in the territory of Donetsk region.

The following enemy drones were destroyed:

"Molniya-2" - a strike FPV aircraft-type drone with a communication range of up to 40 km. The cost is estimated at 300 dollars; Zala Z-16 and Supercam S350 - operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs with a communication range of up to 70 km and 100 km, and costs of 70,000 and 100,000 dollars respectively; "Orlan-10" - one of the main reconnaissance UAVs of the Russian Armed Forces with a communication range of up to 120 km. The cost is estimated at 90,000 dollars.

"Intercepting enemy drones is one of the main directions actively developed by the Unmanned Systems Forces. Besides reconnaissance ’wings’, we also intercept strike UAVs like the Shahed-136, which the Russian troops use for attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities," the video caption states.
