Belgium will provide Ukraine with a new large-scale military aid package worth 1 billion euros.
This was announced by Defence Minister Theo Francken, who reported on the key elements of the deliveries.
As part of the package, Ukraine will receive:
20 Cerberus anti-aircraft missile systems for air defence; over 16,000 units of small arms and artillery guns; 1 upgraded Leopard tank with a new gun turret for testing; 5 naval drones; UAVs, helmets, medical equipment; around 100 armored "ambulances" and Unimog transport vehicles; portable systems for detecting enemy UAVs and night vision goggles; personal protective equipment against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
