In the Kharkiv region, an RF drone struck a checkpoint: five soldiers were injured

In the Kharkiv region, on May 19, a Russian kamikaze drone "Molniya" hit one of the checkpoints where police officers and National Guard soldiers were on duty.

As a result of the attack, two police officers and three National Guardsmen sustained concussions. This was reported by the head of the regional police, Petro Tokar, during a broadcast on "Suspilne".

According to Tokar, the explosion’s power was equivalent to 3–5 kg of explosives, which caused a shock wave dangerous to health. The injured were diagnosed with "acute barotrauma," which can be accompanied by damage to the central nervous system and dysfunction of internal organs.

“Currently, all five are feeling satisfactory, they have been given first aid. I hope they will return to service shortly,” noted Tokar.
