Currently, at the front, there are only new Russian strikes and assaults. The most intensive fighting is taking place in the directions of Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kupyansk.
This was reported in a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We hope for the decisiveness of the American side regarding sanctions to promote peace. Currently, we see only new Russian strikes and new Russian assaults," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He noted that today, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, made a speech.
"The situation at the front remains challenging - in some directions, we are registering increased Russian activity. The most serious fighting is occurring in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kupyansk directions," the President stated.
At the same time, he reported that Ukrainian soldiers are continuing the Kursk operation.
"It is holding back significant forces of the Russian troops from active actions on Ukrainian territory. The war should spread to the territory of Russia - from where it began," Zelenskyy concluded.
