Through its agents, Hungary collected data on the location of air defence and military units in Transcarpathia, as well as the potential reaction of local residents in the event of the introduction of Hungarian peacekeepers, Zelenskyy reported.
"Military-related issues were discussed in 2024-25. The latest data exchange took place on March 25 of this year. Why was it necessary to identify our weak points in the border zone between Ukraine and Hungary? Why were the Hungarians trying to find out where we placed elements of the S-300 air defence system? They were interested in the opinion of the residents of the Carpathian region about the presence of Hungarian peacekeepers, as well as the location of our various military units," stated the President of Ukraine in an interview with the Hungarian publication Válasz Online.
He claims that Kyiv has additional photos and video materials from various meetings between Hungarian intelligence and their agents, and he is ready to disclose them.
