Ex-MP Novynskyi received a new suspicion: non-payment of 4.3 billion hryvnias in taxes

The SSU and the SBI have brought new charges against former MP Vadym Novynskyi for tax evasion amounting to 4.3 billion UAH.

According to the investigation, after obtaining Ukrainian citizenship in 2012, he failed to declare income received abroad from the sale of shares in Cypriot companies amounting to 25 billion UAH and did not pay taxes on it.

Previously, Novynskyi was charged with high treason and discrimination. Sanctions by the NSDC have also been imposed against him.

Novynskyi is currently abroad. He recently gave an interview to Tucker Carlson, in which he stated that "Zelenskyy is the biggest obstacle to peace, because when peace comes, there is a high probability that he will lose his power."
