Direct hit by Iranian missile in Israel: two dead, about 20 injured


In the central part of Israel, two people were killed as a result of an Iranian missile strike. Another 21 people were injured.

This was reported with reference to Israel’s national medical service MDA.

An Iranian missile hit a building in the central city of Rishon LeZion. Two people who sustained severe injuries were eventually pronounced dead.

"Medics are providing assistance and evacuating 21 patients, one of whom is in critical condition, several people are severely injured, and the rest are in stable or moderate condition," according to MDA.

Property and infrastructure at the site of the strike were damaged.

Meanwhile, the Sheba Medical Center reports that a total of 43 people injured in the overnight shelling are being treated at the facility. Twenty-three people have been discharged from the hospital.

Following the latest bombardment, four injured individuals were admitted to the Shamir-Assaf Harofe Medical Center in central Israel. Two of them are in moderate condition, and the other two sustained minor injuries.

Overnight, seven injured people were evacuated to the Ichilov Medical Center. One of them was in moderate condition, while the rest were hospitalized with minor injuries.
