In Dnipro, a day of mourning has been declared for tomorrow


In Dnipro, Wednesday, June 25, has been declared a day of mourning for those who died as a result of the Russian attack.

This was announced by the city mayor, Borys Filatov.

He noted that as of 17:45, the aftermath of the Russian strikes is still being addressed.

"The final calculations have not yet been made, but the list of damages is already enormous. In residential buildings and various municipal facilities around the city, there are over 2,000 (!) broken windows alone. Nearly 50 apartment buildings have been affected, with some having damaged roofs as well. There is also significant destruction in the private sector," he said.

Additionally, nearly 400 reports have been received from people concerning damaged property.

"Almost 40 educational institutions have been affected – including foreign lyceums and gymnasiums, kindergartens, music schools, and vocational schools. There are various damages in 8 healthcare facilities – hospitals, outpatient clinics, and a dental clinic.

Regarding public transport, 3 tram cars were hit, and the contact network support was damaged. The dispatcher and maintenance facilities for electric transport were affected, and the roof in one of the depots was damaged. The Kaidatska pumping and filtration station, as well as 16 district and residential boiler houses, were also impacted," the mayor’s announcement states.
