Over the next three years, they want to weaken banking secrecy in Ukraine

In the next three years, Ukraine plans to ease banking secrecy so that tax authorities can access it, as stated in the Cabinet’s budget declaration.

"During the period from 2026 to 2028, measures are planned to reform tax policy and tax administration. In particular, this concerns expanding the grounds on which tax authorities can access information about the amounts of money entering taxpayers’ bank accounts without a court order," the document states.
