Regarding reports on defence supplies from the United States of America. The Ukrainian side has taken note of information concerning delays in the delivery of certain elements from previously allocated defence assistance packages from the USA and is trying to clarify the current supply circumstances.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
"Ukraine has not received official notifications regarding the cessation or revision of delivery schedules for the agreed defence assistance, so we rely on actual data and verify details for each element in the supply.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has requested a phone conversation with American colleagues to further clarify details.
The results of contacts with our American partners will be additionally reported at the level of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Certain individuals in Ukraine who are currently providing public comments on this situation do not possess all the factual data for objective reasons. We ask to pay attention to official and verified information from reliable sources.
For Ukraine, it is critically important to maintain continuity, uninterruptedness, and predictability in delivering the agreed defence assistance – primarily in strengthening the air defence systems. We are grateful to the United States for all the support and highly value the efforts of American partners aimed at achieving true peace. We emphasize that the path to ending the war lies through consistent and joint pressure on the aggressor, as well as through the continuity of support for Ukraine," the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine stated in the message.
