In the ninth convocation of the Rada, there are no plans to disclose banking secrets, - Hetmantsev


The head of the Verkhovna Rada’s tax committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, stated that in the ninth convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, they do not plan to vote for the disclosure of banking secrecy.

He reported this in the podcast "Chronicles of Economy".

"We will definitely not be disclosing banking secrecy in this convocation of the Verkhovna Rada," said the deputy.

In response to the question of why the Ministry of Finance’s declaration indicates that the disclosure of banking secrecy is one of the points, Hetmantsev noted that it is calculated for three years, and he hopes that the current convocation of the Rada will not operate that long.

Summarizing, Hetmantsev said that in the perspective of 2026, it is definitely not worth discussing the disclosure of banking secrecy.
