A boy accidentally fell into a pool on the premises of an entertainment complex. He was pulled out of the water unconscious.
The communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region reported on the incident on the evening of July 12th.
Around 18:00, local law enforcement officers of the Poltava District Police received a report from medical professionals. The doctors reported an incident at the water park in the village of Suprunivka, Poltava City Community: a 6-year-old boy had fallen into a pool. When the child was pulled from the water, it was not possible to save him: the boy died.
A criminal investigation team arrived at the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident. It was found that the child accidentally fell into the pool, and was pulled out of the water unconscious.
At the scene, medics performed all necessary actions: they conducted resuscitation efforts to save the boy. However, this did not yield results — the child passed away.

The police also noted that the issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations is currently being clarified. All the causes of the incident and the circumstances under which the tragedy occurred are being established.
At the time of publication, the water park administration did not provide comments on the tragic death of the child.
