Expenditure reduction in the state budget: Prime Minister Svyrydenko announced an inspection of social payments

On July 18, the new Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyrydenko, informed journalists that the former Deputy Minister of Finance, Denys Ulyutin, in his position as Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, will be responsible for analyzing social payments to the citizens of Ukraine.

This was reported by "Suspilne".

"In this position, the former Deputy Minister of Finance begins his work because it is important for us to conduct an audit, resolve all social payments, and ensure the functioning of this system for those who truly need assistance," said Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister also commented on the integration of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine into the Ministry of Social Policy.

"Most of us understand that unity is part of social policy. Just like the Ministry of Veterans. At the same time, during the war, veterans should be a priority, so a separate Ministry of Veterans is necessary. And the Ministry of Unity will be naturally integrated into the Ministry of Social Policy," explained Svyrydenko.
