Trump announced that he would shorten his 50-day ultimatum to Putin to agree to a ceasefire because he "already knows the answer".
"We discussed this with you, and it seemed that we came to some decision more than once. However, then President Putin comes out and starts shelling cities like Kyiv, leading to the deaths of many people, and I say: it is unacceptable to act like this. So, we will see where this leads. I am very disappointed in President Putin. Therefore, we will have to reconsider this, and I intend to reduce the 50 days I gave him to a smaller amount because I think I already know the answer," Trump said.
Let us recall, the U.S. president threatened Putin that if he does not agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine within 50 days, the U.S. will impose 100% secondary tariffs on buyers of Russian energy resources.
