Kyiv might have been attacked by jet-powered "Shaheds," - MIA

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported that during the attack on Kyiv on the night of July 31, Russian forces presumably used jet-powered "Shaheds".

This became known from the statement of Klymenko, quoted by TSN.

He noted that the drones "entered" the capital from different directions and after seemingly everything calmed down, a missile attack began an hour later.

"There is preliminary information that there were jet-powered ’Shaheds’, which have been repeatedly used on objects of civilian and municipal infrastructure of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv. The number of them, specifically the jet-powered ’Shaheds’, is being calculated by specialists now," Klymenko stated.

The Minister also reported that a total of 6 missiles hit residential and municipal objects in the city of Kyiv.
