Strike on Sumy: "Kharkiv — Uzhhorod" train damaged, passengers unharmed


On August 1, Sumy was once again under enemy shelling. One of the targets was the city’s railway station. As a result of the strike, windows in the train carriages of train No. 45, which runs between "Kharkiv — Uzhhorod," were damaged.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

It is noted that no passengers were injured. Railway workers responded promptly to the situation — all passengers were relocated to other carriages. The train continues to operate according to schedule.

Information about other consequences of the attack is currently being clarified.
