Commanders on the Russian side are giving their soldiers orders to kill those Ukrainian soldiers who surrender.
This is confirmed by an interception published by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
In the recording, the commander of the occupation forces operating in the Novopavlivka direction orders his subordinates to force the Ukrainian soldiers to surrender, as they have a numerical advantage.
"Take one captive, the rest, if they surrender, — nullify (kill)," — the commander ordered.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine pointed out that this is evidence of a systematic policy of encouraging war crimes, conducted by the command of the Russian army.
It is noted that this is not the first time commanders on the Russian side have given brutal and illegal orders.
