Russia aims to demonstrate "achievements" on the front by August 15 - Zelenskyy

Russian troops aim to demonstrate “successes” on the front by August 15 to create the necessary informational background before the meeting of Russian leader Vladimir Putin with US President Donald Trump.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a conversation with journalists, as reported by a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The most difficult situation is in Kramatorsk, Dobropillya-Kramatorsk. What happened there? Russian groups advanced approximately 10 kilometers in several places. They are all without equipment, only with weapons in hand. Some have already been detected, partially destroyed, partially captured. We will find and destroy the others in the near future as well. The purpose of this advance is clear to us. By August 15, they want to create a certain informational space before the Putin-Trump meeting, especially in the American space, that Russia is advancing, moving forward, while Ukraine is losing”, Zelenskyy said.
