In the UAE, former deputy Fedir Khrystenko was detained at the request of Ukraine

In the UAE, at the request of Ukraine, MP Fedir Khrystenko, accused by the SSU of collaborating with Russia and influencing NABU, was detained yesterday for further extradition to Ukraine.

This was reported to former MP Ihor Mosiychuk by Khrystenko’s wife, Maryna.

According to her opinion, the Ukrainian authorities are trying in this way to prevent the «legalization» of these wiretapping materials from the apartment of a businessman close to the president.

She said that one of the SSU leaders traveled to the UAE and communicated with Khrystenko, demanding that he acknowledge the accusations brought against him in Ukraine and provide testimony against NABU detectives.

The MP’s wife confirmed that her husband had been in contact with NABU detectives, including those against whom the SSU is conducting a criminal case.

Mosiychuk describes Khrystenko as «a key witness in the case of the tapes from Tymur Mindich’s apartment».
