Hungary threatens to suspend electricity supplies to Ukraine due to pipeline shelling

Hungary has announced a possible suspension of electricity supply to Ukraine due to attacks on the pipeline through which Budapest purchases oil from Russia.

Foreign Minister Szijjártó emphasized that up to 40% of Ukrainian electricity imports come from Hungary, but Budapest «does not wish for Ukrainian children to be punished for the actions of former actor Volodymyr Zelenskyy».
