An employee of the Svyatoshyn Court is suspected of distributing Third Reich symbols

An employee of the Svyatoshyn District Court faces up to 5 years in prison for posting photos with a swastika.

This is reported by the National Police.

Law enforcement officers found that a 23-year-old Kyiv resident took a photo while holding a flag with Nazi symbols during leisure time with friends and posted the photo on her social networks later that evening. During a conversation with law enforcement officers, the violator explained that she did it "for fun."

During investigative actions, police officers seized the flag and phone as physical evidence. Under the procedural guidance of the Svyatoshyn District Prosecutor’s Office, the offender was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — public use of the symbols of the National Socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regime.
